Our administrative team is strongly committed to helping children achieve through regulation and strong foundations for learning.

ClearWater Academy's methodology, a supportive community, and long-term financial stability all define our school as a state-of-the-art school in Tyrone, Georgia. The facility has beautiful, nature-inspired classroom building, ocean themes, a full OT gym with on-site occupational therapist and speech therapist, a horseback riding program, and a computer technology lab. Our students are confident and capable of utilizing the tools to become great problem solvers and independent thinkers.

Our Program:
At ClearWater Academy, we incorporate all of the following aspects into our program in order to provide each child with a well-rounded and personalized education.

  • Low Student-to-Teacher Ratio
  • Occupational & Speech Therapy by Hands On Healing
  • Equine Therapy provided by Lisa Freeman of Healing Rein
  • DIR®/Floortime approach to learning
  • Recreational Therapies by Chris Zelski of Learning on the Log
  • Methods and Strategies from Lindamood-Bell®
  • Strategic Learning Connections, Inc. – Developer of Strategic Learning from Dr. Lynda Boucugnani-Whitehead, Ph.D., Consulting Neuropsychologist, and CEO.

As a result of our comprehensive curriculum, we are able to provide each child with different activities that will make them more available to learning. In order to learn, a child needs to be able to focus his attention and maintain control of his body while developing a certain social and emotional base, giving way to a higher level of thinking. At ClearWater Academy, we strive to achieve this through all of the methods listed above.

As a result of our small student-to-teacher/therapist ratio, the staff at ClearWater Academy is able to provide the individual attention that is needed to each student. At ClearWater Academy, we have designed our program for children who are ready for the challenge of academics while still needing social, emotional, and regulatory support and discipline.
