The ClearWater Academy Model

MODEL: We are excited about the focus for the 2011-2012 school year.

ClearWater Academy will incorporate I Spy...CSI as the annual theme using thematic instruction, integrated curriculum, multiple intelligences, and authentic assessments to measure student understanding and performance of key skills.

In addition, we will build social development and emotional regulation into the daily curriculum. Each month, we will focus on a fundamental character education life skill, such as respect, patience, perseverance, and attitude.

Each student has an individual learning plan that considers interests, strengths, and preferences, as well as strategies to address targeted challenge areas. Each student has an individual technology plan that addresses both assistive technology and skill-building.
